FREE Shisha Event @ Silk Lounge (North Acton)

PLEASE READ/SKIM through the whole description below so you know what to expect, what to bring, how to find us, and any other info.

NOTE: I will be moving guys from the 'going' to the 'not going' list if the gender ratio is not balanced. It's nothing personal. Please do not attend the event if you haven't been added to the 'going' list as you will not be seated with the Meetup group.

Silk is a new lounge and has been recommended by some members of the Meetup group.

New people come to every Meetup event plus our regulars are friendly, non-judgemental and welcoming. We'll introduce you to everyone, especially people we think you'll get along with, and will ensure you have a person to share a shisha with.

This Meetup will help you meet new and interesting people, network, or find a potential partner (just give me a nudge nudge wink wink if you like the look of someone and I'll slyly introduce you).

Generally we have a 50/50 gender ratio at our events. Most people are in their 20's and 30's, and are from different religions (Liberal/progressive Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Atheists) and ethnicities (British, Pakistani, Indian, Bengali, French, Palestinian, Algerian and more).

Location: Silk Lounge (you will see Silk Lounge in the middle of Standard Road). The closest stations are North Acton, Willesden Junction (Railway) and Park Royal (Piccadilly Line).

Time: 6:30pm - The timing isn't exact, just come after work. Some people get to the Meetup early, some late. Don't worry if you're late, we'll save you a seat.

1 Shisha is usually priced at £15-25 (usually one shisha is shared between 2 people). Drinks and food is reasonably priced.

They do accept credit/debit cards. We pay for everything as we order to avoid any confusion with bills at the end of the night.
