We are delighted to announce the latest in our innovative series of seasonal afternoon teas, inspired by Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, created in partnership with Netflix and Shondaland. The limited-edition menu pays homage to the Regency era; a time of great revelling and high style, of elegant parties, balls, and grand dinners, all with a contemporary twist.
Setting the scene, the Queen Charlotte Afternoon Tea takes place in The Lanesborough’s richly decorated dining room, naturally illuminated during the day by a domed glass roof. The menu pays tribute to the whimsical and beloved characters, including King George, Lady Violet, Lady Danbury and of course Queen Charlotte herself, by way of intricately designed sweet treats created by Head Pastry Chef Salvatore Mungiovino and his team.Sanderson London, in the heart of London’s West End, offers a retreat from the bustle of the city into a world of fantasy and well-being. The landmarked 1950s building has been transformed by Philippe Starck into a surreal Cocteau-like dream world, epitomising a new luxury that is smart, pared-down and tempered with a healthy dose of wit and irony.
SWEET TREATS
Expertly conceptualised and crafted by Head Pastry Chef, Salvatore Mungiovino, the menu pays tribute to the key characters in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Highlights include Your Majesty, an exquisite sharing cake, King George Dreams of Venus inspired by The King's love of astronomy, the flowery and fruity Lady Violet's Buzzing Garden and the Danbury Delight, a nod to Lady Danbury's love of hats and jewels.

15:45-17:45 Afternoon Tea. Please note due to the nature of the event, we will be on a strict 2 hour table limit, as such I kindly ask all participants to arrive ahead of the time.
Menu:
Please note the Queen Charlotte Afternoon Tea menu is suitable for those following a halal diet. They also offer gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan menus.
Upgrade to a themed cocktail or a glass of champagne is possible for an extra charge.

Payment:
£60 to be paid on RSVP which includes £50 deposit + organiser / Paypal fees.
Please note any additional fees are charged by Meetup directly and not myself. This fee will be refunded to you by Meetup if event is cancelled. You can avoid this charge by subscribing to Meetup+.
The £50 deposit will be deducted from your bill on the day or kept as a cancelation fee.
The Afternoon Tea costs £75, excluding service charge of 15% payable on the day. Please note the service charge is subject to change without a prior notice. By booking you agree to pay full service charge on the day of the event unless all participants unanimously agree not to.
Refund policy:
Full refund minus £2 (to cover non-refundable PayPal fees) will be refunded only if event if cancelled or rescheduled.
If you can no longer attend, you can sell your spot to someone on waitlist.
