Howling Bells weren't high on my list of likely 2026 comebacks, having peaked in popularity about 20 years ago, but the new material sounds genuinely good! They've held up pretty well physically too, if you ask me. If you aren't familiar, they play moody rock with a bit of oomph on the bottom end - there are bits of Curve, Honeyblood, Siouxsie and the Banshees and Black Heart Procession in there. Here are some sample songs, see for yourself:

Unbroken (off the new LP): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zw5zRli_f5I

Another new one, Chimera: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bIW3uO4ZjU

Support comes from:

a) The Roebucks, an acoustic pop four-piece from Brighton fronted by two harmonising singers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C29xtOYLgOc

b) Charlotte Carpenter, generic (that's what it sounds like to me anyway) singer-songwriter stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIGHfhNHnac

Doors are 7pm, we can meet from just before (pints are £5 before seven and cocktails are 2 for £14) and grab a pre-pint downstairs, then head in for the support if we feel like it.
