Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965)
Details
Equipped with one of the best names (and posters) in movie history, Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! is arguably* Russ Meyer's peak, a dynamic, rapid-fire blend of fast cars, violent women and omnipresent sexual tension. There isn't a dull second in its 83-minute run time and it's packed to the brim with terrific one-liners courtesy of screenwriter and ex-child star Jack Moran. The three main actresses had all been actual go-go dancers and Tura Satana was a genuine badass in real life, to the point where she ended up plotting out the fight scenes herself.
So, what's the plot? Three go-go dancers are racing across the desert when they come across an innocent young couple, which is basically a rag to a bull for the women's leader, Varla. But that turns out to be just the prelude for them running into a disabled (but rich) old guy and his two sons, who they decide to target in the hope they can be separated from their money. That's when things really start sliding out of control.

This is a Bar Trash night at the Genesis, which means it comes with a detailed intro, a quiz and spot prizes, and drinking encouraged (but obviously not mandatory). Cheap tickets too, only £5 including booking fee. Available here. Or, if you want, you can go highbrow and go to one of the BFI screenings this month. But you should come to this!
*It's either this or Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, which is also superb.
