Clothesline from Hell/Curiosity Shop/Really Good Time - FREE SHOW
Details
Look at this as a Great Escape warm up if you want, it's a three-band bill made up of guitar acts where at least two of them are decent. And it's free, at the Sebright Arms, one of the more reliable gig pubs in East London. What's not to like?
So, what about the bands?
Clothesline From Hell is pure early 2000’s Reading Festival stuff – a bit of emo, a bit of grunge and some trip hop-like beats attached. It shouldn’t really work but there’s an air of mystery about them and the songs are good enough that it does. Cool early 2000's band name too, which always helps.

Curiosity Shop play trad folk-sounding stuff. Not as keen about this lot and they have very little online presence (seriously lads, YouTube shorts only?) but they can be a quieter palate cleanser between the noisier bands or an opportunity to grab a drink.

Really Good Time play loud, bouncy, punky rock. Apparently they have a rep as a really good live band – not sure if they are but they look and seem like a band that probably moves around a bit onstage.

Tickets are free and available here. I would grab one just in case. Doors open at half seven so let's meet upstairs from then and head down when the first band comes on.
