Star Classical Saxophonist Jess Gillam joins Brighton Philharmonic in a programme of passionate, melodic and profoundly moving works.

Sibelius' blazing hymn to Finnish independence "Finlandia" precedes Glazunov's lyrical Saxophone Concerto, whilst Polish composer Henryk Górecki’s "Symphony of Sorrowful Songs" is a work that gained a huge audience in the 1990s for it's unique musical language, one of haunting simplicity and calmness - an antidote to our busy modern lives.

As usual, I'm happy book group tickets in our favourite spot (best value for money), £20.50 per ticket. Message me for details if you don't already have them.

Keep an eye on "comments" below for any optional pre-/post-concert arrangements. Otherwise, we'll meet at foyer entrance (by the box office) by 2.15 latest. Concert starts 2.45.
