2025 Spring Group ONLINE on Saturdays 'Week One'

Join us for a new group working through The Artist’s Way book ONLINE, (our second session reviewing Week 1) SATURDAY 9 MARCH at 5pm. We’re trying a weekend meeting this time!

A WEEKLY evening Spring group, meeting to work through the 12 weekly chapters of The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron. We will meet EVERY SATURDAY to share our progress and support each other in our creative journeys. You don’t need to have done The Artist’s Way before—returners are welcome!

The group will be hosted by Ugo, a fellow group member who will be working through the book alongside you. AW Meetup group founder Kate (Kateboo) will also be available to help answer questions if the need arises. We are also looking for a co-host—if interested, please contact Kate.

What will happen at this meetup?

This weeks meeting will cover Week 1, so please read the Week 1 chapter and attempt some of the tasks before attending. We will introduce ourselves, discuss key takeaways from the chapter, and share our experiences with the tasks so far. This will also be an opportunity to go over how the meetings will work and support each other as we begin the journey.

Does it cost anything?

There is a one-off sign-up fee of £15, which helps cover our Meetup.com subscription costs. You’ll need to pay in advance to secure your place.

A ‘Creative Cluster’:

This is a “creative cluster,” not a taught course or therapy group. You might like to read the appendix Trail Mix, where Julia Cameron introduces the idea of Sacred Circles—though we follow our own approach! The group will be self-run, with volunteers taking turns to host meetings.

Time, Dates, and Location:

This group meets on Saturday evenings, starting 9 March. The volunteer host will be online from 4:45pm, and the meeting will start promptly at 5pm.
• Sessions may run longer but will end by 8pm at the latest.
• The group will meet for 12 weeks, ending on 24 May. We hope you can commit to attending most meetings.
