I’m picking a starting topic this week: Is racism only about skin colour?

Many of us are based in the UK, but anyone is welcome. Want clarification on a topic? Just ask!

This is very informal. The format jumps from one topic to another; it’s a mix between debate and discussion.

I will reiterate that anything does go. But like any form of our precious freedom of speech, hate speech and calls for harm will not be accepted.

What is hate? (harm obviously doesn't have to be explained - I hope!)
In common language, “hate speech” refers to offensive discourse targeting a group or an individual based on inherent characteristics (such as race, religion or gender).

Don't get the trans issue? That's fine.
