Bitcoin Lightning network // The Reserve, UCL & Ben Livshits (Brave)

Are you interested in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space? If the answer is Yes, we want to invite you to our new meetup series run in conjunction with Professor Ben Livshits, Chief Scientist at Brave Software, a research fellow at the University College London (UCL) Centre for Blockchain Technologies (CBT) and Professor at Imperial College. UCL's CBT is kindly providing the meeting room as well as additional support and resources.

At these events, the moderators will share their own unique insights from operating within the space but the aim is to have an open discussion about the topic at hand.

Each meetup will focus on a different project or theme.

The Lightning Network is a “Layer 2” payment protocol that operates on top of a blockchain-based cryptocurrency (like Bitcoin).

Attendees are strongly advised to attend prepared as we plan to facilitate breakout discussions and elicit opinions from as many of the group as possible. We recommend reviewing the following resources to get the most out of the session:
