London Business English & Communication Workshop

This is a group for anyone who wants to increase their ability to use English to communicate effectively in the world of business, the workplace, the job market and in a social setting, to expand their business network, to become more familiar with British culture to make friends and, of course, to have fun! 

We will use an integrated approach to language learning which will help you improve in all four key skills, speaking, writing, listening, and reading, through a range of activities including:

• language workshops in grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation

• discussions and debates on current affairs

• guided conversation practice with feedback and correction

• cultural events, excursions and visits

We will also offer practical help with things such as:

• writing c.v.’s and cover letters

• communicating by telephone

• interview techniques

• taking part in meetings

• writing emails and reports

• delivering presentations

• writing essays and preparing for examinations

• socialising and making small talk

About me: 

Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a native English speaker, from London, I’m fully qualified with almost 20 years experience as a teacher of English, as a Corporate Language Trainer, an Ielts Examiner, Teacher Trainer and Associate Lecturer in English for Academic Purposes. I have worked in universities, colleges of further and higher education, training centres and in-company not only in the UK but also in several other countries including the Czech Republic, Italy, Qatar, Spain and China.  So in short, if there any aspects of the English language which you would like some help with just ask and rest assured you’ll find me ready, willing and able to help!
