Wind Quintet with Piano, Grade 8+ [Spaces: bassoon]

This group is for amateur wind musicians at grade 8+ to play through some quintets in a friendly and supportive environment. We might adapt the ensemble as people sign up if needed.

Pianists should be diploma level+ with experience of playing chamber music. The studio we've reserved has a grand piano and the session could be shared between two pianists.

This practice will be run amongst yourselves and should be a good opportunity to explore some repertoire of your choosing, catch up with friends and meet some new musicians to collaborate with.

How to sign up

1). Check the attendees list to see where there are spaces left. We'll try to keep a summary below as well.

If there isn't a space for your instrument, please write in the comments to form a waitlist.

2). Discuss the repertoire that you'd like to play with the group as soon as possible in the event comments, so that there's time to organise scores, practice if you'd like to and generally make the most of the session. We'll help to facilitate this if needed.

3). Please contribute to the venue hire costs online via Collctiv, or in cash on the day.

Please only sign up if you are definitely intending to join! It can be tricky to find someone to take your place at short notice (appreciating that sometimes this can't be helped).
