Improv Skills to Boost your Coaching

Improvisation & Coaching have much in common, both have intensive skills training and a treasure chest of techniques and tools. The 'work' evolves, in the moment, responding to what is happening and what is needed, all the while holding both long-term abd short-term goals.

This lively, interactive and fun session will provide you with a taste of improv tools that will support, expand and boost your coaching skills.

During the session you will:

  • Identify which unconscious skills, behaviours or attitudes support your coaching or actually make you less effective

  • Introduce 3 Core Improvisation Skills, that directly apply to coaching

  • Practice some simple and powerful improv tools, and discuss their applicability to coaching

Sue Walden, founder of ImprovWorks! has a BA/Education and 35 years of teaching/performing improv and workshop design, plus 30 years of adapting and widely applying improvisation skills for corporations, coaches and individuals. Author of 'Working with Groups to Enhance Relationships', she has presented to two ICF conferences, and numerous coaching groups in the US and Europe.
