Come mingle with dbt users and members of the London analytics community!

We’ve got a great line-up of speakers for our inaugural event, which I’m sure will lead to great discussion with members of the community.

In this first event, we are going to focus on how the analytics stack has evolved leading to the emergence of dbt, how businesses are leverages dbt to handle the complexity of their data, what’s coming in the future for dbt, and more.

The agenda is as follows:

6pm: Doors open, networking, pizza, drinks.

7pm: Talks starts! They are:

• How analytics stacks have evolved and an introduction to dbt, Dom Sventickas from Growth Street
• Managing model quality and complexity in dbt, Colleen Mahon from Tails.com
• Thinking probabilistically: helping your business making better decisions, Dylan Baker (freelance consultant)
• The future of dbt, Drew Banin from Fishtown Analytics

8:15pm: Talks finish, Q&A.

8:30pm: Further drinks and networking

The event is going to be generously hosted by Growth Street at their London offices and sponsored by Snowflake.

For anyone unfamiliar with dbt: dbt is the T in ELT. It lets you organize, cleanse, denormalize, filter, rename, and pre-aggregate the raw data in your warehouse so that it’s ready for analysis.
