Containers?

Running containerised workloads in cloud environments was never easier and people quite often neglect the security perspective, as managing underlying infrastructure becomes someone else's problem with a shared responsibility model in the Cloud. In this talk we will be looking at how to securely run containers in Kubernetes environments. There are many different aspects and mechanisms of securing your Kubernetes clusters. This talk will focus on issues when running privileged containers in Kubernetes clusters and how to reduce attack surface by using PodSecurityPolicies with potential caveats when implementing those in an active cluster. We will do a live demo and demonstrate this on AWS EKS cluster.
