What we’re about
We run monthly meetups in Central London covering everything about DevOps. We cover people and process in-depth, and technologies such as Cloud Automation, Orchestration, Containers, Virtualisation, Service Discovery, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
Everyone is welcome, from people that have been doing DevOps for a long time to new starters.
We are always looking for good speakers, for venues which can accommodate 100+ people, and for sponsors. Please fill in fill in this form to get in touch with an organizer if you can help!
Our objectives are:

IDPs - Amir Tayabali
This session explores how Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) help teams accelerate delivery, reduce friction, and improve security and governance across cloud environments. Amir also covers the problems teams face without an IDP, what a better developer experience looks like, how IDPs integrate with Landing Zone architectures, and how Platform, Security, FinOps, and Dev teams collaborate to build one.
Amir Tayabali is a Solutions Architect at Appvia, where he helps organisations design and adopt developer-first platforms, including Wayfinder. With a background in platform engineering, DevOps, and site reliability, Amir has supported critical national infrastructure projects across the UK Home Office, Bank of England, and more. He specialises in aligning technical solutions with business outcomes, delivering tailored platform strategies that prioritise scalability, automation, and developer experience.
Case Study: A Kubernetes Custom Controller for Release Management - Denys Vasyliev
This talk presents a real-world case study on building a custom Kubernetes controller to handle application promotion, safely moving applications through different environments such as development, staging, and production.
As a bonus, we’ll also look at how we’re experimenting with AI agents by integrating an MCP server into the controller. This allows us to manage release processes using natural language commands, enabling AI-driven agents to monitor and interact with deployments more efficiently.
Denys is a Principal Site Reliability Engineer with over 15 years of experience across Software Development, DevOps, SRE, and the emerging field of AI Reliability Engineering (AIRe). With a track record of leadership in roles ranging from Co-Founder and CTO to Technical Manager and Operations Lead, Denys has consistently driven innovation while scaling both teams and infrastructure. His current work focuses on AI agents, autonomous systems, and evolving the Kubernetes ecosystem to meet the demands of next-generation platforms, all grounded in a deep commitment to SRE best practices for AI-powered environments.
