Making learning accessible and cost-effective with a DevOps mindset - Wale Salami - Delivery Consultant at GlobalLogic
In this talk, Wale will take you through the journey from a training idea to a one-click deployment of an interactive lab. Learning is not always easily available to everyone, but by using DevOps methodologies, it can be brought to you swiftly and at minimal cost. You will learn how to leverage DevOps tools like Terraform, Git etc. and take advantage of the elasticity you can achieve while hosting resources in the cloud. You will also get an insight into the ways of working and see how with cross-team collaboration everyone involved in the process becomes a better engineer. Finally, Wale will share use cases and suggest how you can benefit from the lessons he has learned!

After starting his career as a developer in France, Paolo moved to Switzerland in 2012. During these early years, he worked for larger IT companies and developed an interest in systems architecture, and how software can be used to meet customer needs. Soon after, he moved to London and joined the vibrant startup scene. Paolo's focus at Konfir is building a culture where people thrive on delivering value to users as fast as possible without compromising on quality, by using TDD, Continuous Delivery and Fast Feedback Loops.
