Drupal Meetup London - June 2023, at The Children's Society

We are delighted to announce the return of our beloved Drupal London Meetup after a long pause due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This long-awaited gathering will take place on Tuesday, 20th June 2023, at 6:30 PM, and we couldn't be more excited.

Before we delve into the details, a special shoutout to Matt Summers-Sparks, whose assistance in securing our meetup venue, The Children's Society, Whitecross Studios, 50 Banner Street, London EC1Y 8ST, has been invaluable.

This meetup is primarily organised based on a community-wide survey initiated by Andy Read, where Tuesday was identified as the most convenient day. If you didn't get the chance to participate in the survey, fret not! You are still more than welcome to join us in this interactive gathering.

Our agenda is fascinating this time around. We are thrilled to have Vincenzo Gambino, who will lead two insightful sessions - 'Drupal and ChatGPT' and 'Drupal and NextJS'. These sessions are designed to stimulate and inform, with plenty of takeaways for everyone involved.

We have planned 1 or 2 non-technical 10-minute presentations alongside these technical talks. These slots are open to anyone passionate about a topic they want to share with the community. We want to encourage you to step forward if you're interested. Please drop a message to this event chat to discuss this!

But that's not all! In the spirit of Drupal meetups of old, we're not just about talks and presentations. After the sessions we'll move the gathering to a nearby pub. Here's your chance to relive the Drupal pub meets, catch up with old friends, make new ones, and talk about all things Drupal in a relaxed setting.

This meetup combines show-and-tell technical discourse and casual catch-ups as a 'Pub Meetup'. It's an opportunity to reconnect with Drupal and each other as we revive the human interaction we've all missed.
