Crypto Collectibles and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT)

Since the launch of Cryptokitties and the subsequent craze that followed, which almost brought the Ethereum Blockchain to a standstill, it is safe to say that non-fungible tokens have grabbed the imagination of all crypto enthusiasts. We want to shed some light on this fast-growing class of crypto-assets, and dive deeper into what truly makes non-fungible tokens so valuable.

SPEAKERS BIO’S

KEYNOTE: Piers Ridyard // Founder of Radix DLT

A serial entrepreneur, Piers started in Blockchain by experimenting with creating insurance smart contracts that could operate without the need for a carrier in early 2015. Before taking the helm at Radix, he co-founded Surematics, a YCombinator S'17 company, helping to create the world's first decentralized dataroom.

Benny Giang // Founder of CryptoKitties

Benny has been fascinated by cryptocurrencies since early 2016 and was an early supporter of Ethereum. Benny played a pivotal role in launching CryptoKitties during its infancy to its current global success. He is exploring the intersection of cryptography, games, and art; all of which extend the interactivity of digital assets using smart contracts.

Andy Gray & James Morgan // Founders of BlockRocket.tech

Andy and James come from an enterprise software engineering background and now focus primarily on decentralised technology. Together they run Blockrocket.tech a Blockchain consultancy based in Manchester with a proven track record in understanding and delivering non-fungible token solutions.

Paul Collins // Founder of Sticksports

Paul has more than 15 years’ experience in the games industry as well as a background in commercial management, and a deep understanding of marketing, finance, and the design process. He is the driving force behind Sticksports which now has over 70 million downloads and 2.5 million monthly active users.
