Professional storytellers take you on an imaginary journey to different cultures and different times, they make you not only hear, but also feel and experience the stories. Storytelling has nothing to do with fairy tales read to children before bedtime. Storytelling is an immersive experience for adults.

Join us for an evening of storytelling with Jan Blake, an African storyteller together with live music by blues guitarist Matt Chandler.

From juke joints and brothels, to slave shacks and plantations - under the starlit sky of the deep Southern States emancipated slaves of the African Diaspora, dressed in indigo dyed denim and banned from singing their homeland songs, spirituals and field hollers, created, sang and lived the blues!

Fusing song, folk tale and legend, the remarkable storyteller, Jan Blake, and blues guitarist, Matt Chandler, tell the blues. Join them for a night in the very fine company of those who've got the blues, those who defy the blues, those who cure them, and those who cause them. This is a performance to raise the roof and bring the stars down to the windows to listen.

This event is organized in cooperation with the MoonRising LivingArt meetup for visually impaired people. We need volunteers who meet visually impaired people at either Camden Town station or a nearby bus stop. If you're interested in helping, please let me know... Thanks a lot...
