Walk: Around Greenwich Park and the Queen's House

Let's go for a walk in Greenwich Park! I feel like I've been cooped up a bit too much recently and really fancy a bracing walk. The weather may have turned colder but we can have a look around Greenwich Park and retreat to the Queen's House (it's free entry) when we feel like it.

There are a number of things to see in the park - I am really keen to try and find the location of the "real" Greenwich meridian prime line. From a Tudor courting tree, via panoramic views, Conduit remains, statues, art - to what's said to have been a queen's bath. But we don't have to go around every single thing of note - we'll take the weather into account and adapt our route accordingly. I will update the meeting point soon, likely outside a nearby station.

There are a number of pubs between the park and Greenwich station, let's pop in for a drink afterwards and warm back up.

If the weather is not great: there'll be fewer people around, and that can't be a bad thing.

Bring an umbrella or a hooded garment, sturdy shoes and warm clothes!

Please note there is an attendance contribution of £6 which goes towards the yearly Meetup platform fee, and our organisers voluntary time, both necessary to keep this club alive and running! This fee will be split 50/50 between the host, Giselle and the group organiser Dul, thank you.
