Exhibition Highlights:
Joan Mitchell: Most of the showcased works were created in the last two decades of Mitchell’s life, a period marked by the deaths of several important figures, and her own cancer diagnosis. Despite this, painting remained a means of existence for Mitchell. As she once said, "Music, poems, landscape, and dogs make me want to paint… And painting is what allows me to survive."
Agnes Martin: Explore the ARTIST ROOMS touring collection of over 1,600 works of modern and contemporary art. This collection is displayed across the UK in solo exhibitions, showcasing the work of 42 major international artists.
Entry Details: The entry to the exhibition is free; however, there is a nominal £3.00 fee per person for attending the event. This fee contributes towards the admin/meetup-hosting cost, which is around £300.00 yearly.
