In Search of Dragons – Evening Walk & Drinks

Walk length 3miles/5km approx. Linear.
A curious walk and appropriate on St George’s Day walking from Temple to Bank exploring a trail past some of the Dragon sculptures and symbols of the City of London. St George is a patron saint to a number of countries including England. We will also see some other interesting London landmarks and sites along the route.
At the end of the walk we will go for some refreshments close to Leadenhall Market at a nice classy but reasonably priced pub.

Meeting and Transport
Meet outside the entrance to Temple Underground Station from 6.15pm for the walk to start at 6.30pm, we will finish between Bank/Liverpool Street. (see photo above). Please check Transport for London (http://www.tfl.gov.uk/).

Walking Safety
Walking is a great way to keep fit and generally very safe; however it does contain an element of risk. Before going on any of these walks you need to be reasonably fit and be prepared to be responsible for your own safety. You should wear appropriate clothing such as proper walking shoes, warm and wet weather clothing and carry sufficient food and water.
