For our April meetup we've two sessions.

Session 1: Unlocking the Power of Microsoft Fabric at Jellycat with Gigi Chiang
Join us as we take you through implementing Microsoft Fabric at Jellycat. In this session, we will cover:

  • How we designed our end-to-end data pipeline using Medallion architecture
  • The challenges we faced and key lessons learned
  • Our experience with Fabric's data engineering and analytics capabilities
  • Best practices and key takeaways for organizations looking to adopt Fabric

Whether you are a data engineer, data analysts, or just curious about Fabric, this session will provide real-world insights and practical tips from our hands-on experience. We look forward to sharing our story and answering your questions!
Session 2: Powering Up Your Power BI Development Workflow with Microsoft Fabric Notebooks with Prathy Kamasani

Are you excited about Microsoft Fabric and its Notebooks feature, but also feel overwhelmed by the different languages it supports, this session is for you. You will learn the basics of Python and Spark, and how to use Notebooks to write and run code. You will also discover how to leverage tools like CoPilot to assist you with code suggestions and corrections. Moreover, you will see how to use libraries like SemPy to enrich your Power BI development with advanced analytics. Join Prathy in this session and get ready to explore the possibilities of Notebooks in Microsoft Fabric.
