What we’re about
FinOps is the operating model for the cloud. FinOps enables a shift — a combination of systems, best practices and culture — to increase an organization’s ability to understand cloud costs and make tradeoffs. In the same way that DevOps revolutionized development by breaking down silos and increasing agility, FinOps increases the business value of cloud by bringing together technology, business and finance professionals with a new set of processes.
The group is a chance to meet fellow minded individuals who have alread embarked on this new philosophy or are looking to learn about it.
We will try to cover anything and everything about FinOps including Automation, Orchestration, Containers, Virtualisation, Service Discovery, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery all within the Financial Technology spectrum, moving swiftly from tech to business challenges.
The objectives of the group are:
1. Make it a platform to be able to learn about best practices and tools
2. Build and foster the FinOps Community in London
3. Network and have fun!
