The First Hasura User Group Meetup in London

Details

Hey there 👋🏻

Our friends Hasura are launching their User Group meetup in London! This is a cross post from Ben Ford, who's organising the inaugural meet up at Level 39 in Canary Wharf

Join us for an evening of talks by folks using Hasura, and the engineers building it! You'll also get to meet other Hasura users in London too.
AGENDA
Talk Title: Towards HasuraOS
Talk Description: Up until now, Hasura has mostly been used to provide a no-code backend to web apps. Why stop there? Could we use Hasura for general-purpose computation? In this talk, we will explore how close to Turing completeness we can get with the Hasura console, and attempt to implement some classic examples using as little outside help as possible. By the time we’re done, you’ll (provably) have everything you need to build anything you want with Hasura!
Speaker Bio: Tom Harding is an ex-Londoner now in Bristol. He's currently a Haskell engineer for Hasura.
----------
Talk Title: An API for Operations.
Talk Description: How Mission Ctrl uses Hasura and a low code tech stack to build scaleable internal operations for growing tech businesses.
Speaker Bio: Ben Ford is the founder of MISSION Ctrl
------------
Once the talks are over, you can meet and talk to engineers from Hasura's product and community team.
