What we’re about
We're gay, we're Dads, we're talking over a pint.
Wherever you are in your journey, you’re not alone: Other Dads are experiencing the same issues and worries, some have struggled along to a brighter place.
The group is inclusive and respectful. GayDads attending are out, in and every stage between; single, partnered, married, civilly-unioned, divorced etc.; Some guys had kids with an ex-wife, some are parents by surrogacy. We are every kind of 'rainbow family.'
We find that meeting up now and again is fun and helps.
Wherever you're at, at London Gay Dads Meetups there’s always a warm welcome.

Come chat at Compton's with other gay dads (11-02-26)
Comptons, 51-53 Old Compton Street, London, GBCome for a chat over a bevvie upstairs at Compton's.
LGDM is mainly gay guys who have kids, chatting over a drink. We know the particular struggles of being gay and a father. We make it work, for us it is normal.
LGDMs are relaxing, fun, positive, encouraging meets. First-timers specially looked out for and warmly welcomed.
People come along as singles and couples, younger, older, out, not out, still married to a woman, divorced, trans and everything in between. 'Wannabe-Dads' and women are welcome too. Every racial group and faith/no faith background has come and been warmly included. Basically everyone from every imaginable background is welcome. The only condition is that you have an interest in gay dads being the best and happiest dads they can be.
If you RSVP "Yes" one of the leaders will know to be on the lookout for you but you're fine to just turn up too, we understand and respect some people’s need for confidentiality.
Plenty of blokes go for non-alcoholic drinks. No pressure, no judgements and no charge for this meetup.
Guys who've already been to at least one meetup can ping Glyn (https://www.meetup.com/london-gay-dads-meetup/members/246662999/profile/) to be added to the "LGDM Chat" WhatsApp group which we use mainly for social chat between meets (only house-rule is "no smut, no politics, no religion").13 attendees
9th Anniversary Foundation Drinks & Dinner (06.03.26)
Mele e Pere, 46 Brewer Street, London, GBJoin for the 9th Annual Dinner!
M&P serve sensibly-priced delicious authentic Italian meals. Usually nice service too. The group’s size means as usual it’ll be their Large Group Seasonal Set Menu; while that’s pretty comprehensive, obviously it won’t include everything a la carte at https://www.meleepere.co.uk/menus, but if interested you get the idea there.
As always, LGDM meets are 'fam-friendly' and +1s are very welcome.
This year instead of a deposit, we're asking that in addition to RSPV-ing here on Meetup, you make a note to 'consciously' reconfirm a week beforehand (or otherwise go back into Meetup and decline!) your RSVP, that'd be on Sat 28th Feb, IF YOU RSVP 'Yes' and then NO SHOW even after this 28th Feb 'reconfirm', WE WILL BE CHARGED for you & you will be found to be in the Bad Boy Books!
(We will of course send a reminder by email and WA in good time.)
This is how Mere e Pele describe themselves:
"We are three brothers ... on a journey to create a genuine neighbourhood Trattoria reminiscent of the fabulous family-run places of northern Italy where we all grew up... We cook our seasonal menu with British produce and exceptional Italian ingredients. All of our pasta, pizza, desserts and ice-creams are made in our kitchen fresh every day and we prove our pizza dough for over 48 hours. Gluten free pasta is also available and we have plenty of vegan options too."16 attendees
