Walk and Picnic in Crystal Palace Park

Dave and I would like to invite you to our walk and picnic in Crystal Palace Park. Come for the walk or for the picnic at 2.30 ish.

Meeting point: outside Crystal Palace Overground station (zones 3+4).

We will have a leisurely walk around one of the most interesting and hystorical parks in London and then at about 2.30 settle down somewhere breezy and shaded for our picnic.

I will share on here the exact location but it will be roughly somewhere on the big meadow near the Penge gates, the food market and the cafe.

As per previous events, we would encourage you to bring food to share with the others. If you do not want to prepare food yourself, there is a gorgeous food market inside the park.

Weather
We will keep an eye on the weather forecast but come prepared.
If things take a turn for the worse, we will cancel and give you as much notice as possible. Keep an eye out on the event in the Meetup app.

Getting there

• Windrush Line Overground from Highbury & Islington.

• National rail from London Bridge (4 trains per hour) via Forest Hill or via Gipsy Hill.

• National rail from London Victoria (4 trains per hour).
