Lunch and drinks at Mercato Metropolitano (Elephant & Castle)

Join us for lunch at Mercato Metropolitano - the original Mercato and one of our old favourites. The venue will be closing next year so we are keen to make the most of it while it is still here!

Mercato Metropolitano is the first Mercato in London and some might say the best. There is an enormous selection of food and drink stalls (over 40) and there is something for all tastes: from pizzas and pasta to Himalayan dumplings, paella and Spanish tapas, Argentinian steak, cocktails and more. There is no charge for entry.

Mercato Metropolitano is a short walk from Elephant & Castle tube station.

A table is reserved for the group where you can meet us, then browse the extensive selection of food and drink counters.

The table will most likely be outdoors but we will try to make sure it is sheltered in case the weather does not go our way. If the weather is really bad, we will move indoors.

This is quite a large venue, so I will post directions from the entrance to the table in the event comments shortly before the start time.

We’re a friendly, welcoming group for gay male couples who are looking to make new friends and socialise off / on the scene with other couples. We look forward to seeing old friends and greeting new members who've joined recently.
