## Claim back the full spectrum of your physical experience with Laban
Expand your range and learn how movement qualities shape who you are.
Every body has patterns: some of us are sharp and quick, others are heavy and still. But what if you could move — and live — with a much wider range?
This class draws on Rudolf Laban’s Effort theory: a movement framework that explores four key dimensions — weight, space, time, and flow. By playing with these, you’ll discover how small changes in movement radically shift how you feel and how others experience you.
You’ll:
Embody different qualities of movement — light vs. strong, sustained vs. sudden, direct vs. indirect.
Notice the emotional resonance each quality unlocks.
Explore how these physical shifts ripple into your voice, opening new tones and textures.
This is a playful, surprising session that reveals just how much range your body holds — and how your future self might move and sound differently when you unlock that spectrum.

# This workshop is a part of a series:
# The Intelligence of the Body – Embody Your Future Self
A 4-part series with Martina Avogadri (small group: 5–10 people)
Dates: Saturdays — 8 Nov, 15th, 22nd and 29th Nov 2025
Times: 10:00–12:00
Duration: 2 hours per session
Why this is different:
These workshops blend theatre-rooted movement and voice with coaching-style reflection to help you feel grounded, expand presence, and speak from your body—not your overthinking mind. You’ll experience Future-Self Embodiment: a guided, practical way to step into the person you’re becoming through how you move, breathe, and sound.
Who it’s for:
Professionals, creatives, and anyone who wants to get out of their head and into their body. No acting or movement experience needed—just curiosity.
You’ll leave with:
- A repeatable grounding sequence (breath + stance + focus) you can use before meetings, pitches, or performances.
- Voice tools for resonance, projection, and steadiness under pressure.
- A felt, memorable experience of your future self—in your body, not just your head.
