London Community Day (Space Improvements & Social Gathering)

Details
Join the London Hackspace community for a hands-on day of making, fixing, and friendly hacking.
Community Day is our regular space-improvement and social session where members, prospective members, and curious visitors pitch in, learn new skills, and meet fellow makers.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Roll up sleeves: help build and improve the space — from simple light activities to more challenging. You find your way on how to support our hackspace.
Learn by doing: pick up practical skills alongside experienced members; no prior experience required.
Tours and chats: get shown around, ask questions, and discover projects happening across the workshops.
Social vibe: meet makers, artists, engineers, and tinkerers over tea, tools, and teamwork.
WHO IT'S FOR
New or prospective members looking to get involved and meet the community.
Returning members keen to reconnect and contribute.
Anyone who enjoys making, repairing, organising, or just lending a helpful hand.
WHAT TO BRING
Sensible footwear and clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dusty.
Optional: gloves, your favourite hand tools, and snacks for you and maybe to share as well.
Enthusiasm and a collaborative spirit.
WHY JOIN IN
Make a visible impact on the space you and our fellow members use.
Learn practical skills while meeting the people behind the projects.
Help to keep London Hackspace thriving and accessible for makers across the city.
