London HUG - All Back Together!!

Hi Everyone,

Finally, the London HUG is back in person and we cannot wait to see you all! I would like to invite everyone to our first event back which is very kindly being hosted by Natilik in their amazing office space in Devonshire Square, by Liverpool street station.

18:30 – Robert Barnes from HashiCorp - “Dynamic Boundary hosts using Consul Terraform Sync”

In this demo driven talk, I will show you a simple workflow to automate the management of Boundary host and target resources using Consul service mesh as the source of truth. By the end of this talk, you will learn how to configure Consul Terraform sync to facilitate this automation. You will also learn how to write a terraform module that can be consumed by Consul Terraform Sync.

19:00 – Mike Guy from Natilik - “Terraform mistakes to avoid in production”

A look at some common pitfalls seen in past Terraform deployments, why they may be a problem and how to avoid them!

19:30 – Romuald (aka Rom) Vandepoel - “How to solve Kubernetes Secrets conundrum”

A simple walkthrough about the rather complex topic of Kubernetes Secrets Management with real scenarios being addressed the Kubernetes native way with the magic of Vault.

20:00 - 20:30 – Remaining food, drinks and off to the Pub (Venue to be confirmed)!
