HashiCorp Meetup #40 - The First of 2024!

What better way to start the 2024 meetups, than by kicking off with an event at the highest office in Europe! A big thank you to our venue sponsor Palo Alto Networks for offering to host this meetup.
We’ve got two great talks lined up. Details below:

• 18.00 – Arrival (please see notes below on access) for pizza, drinks and socialising (thank you again Palo Alto Networks!)
• 18.30 – Talk 1 – Simon Elliott – SE @ HashiCorp – Terraform Remote Cloud Operations:

• 19.15 – Talk 2 – Stephen Giguere – Developer Advocate @ Palo Alto Networks – Securable and Scaleable GitOps with Prisma Cloud and Terraform Cloud:
• “Harness the power of secure GitOps automated workflows using Terraform Cloud and Prisma Cloud to safely deploy and manage your infrastructure efficiently at scale. In this session we will learn the intricacies of securing your Terraform infrastructure from creation to the runtime cloud environment, utilizing Prisma Cloud within your developer processes and tools. We will show how you can identify tangible runtime cloud infrastructure risks and trace issues back to the originating terraform to make permanent fixes. This unique capability allows for identifying the root cause of problems detected in the cloud environment, pinpointing the code and the contributor responsible, and ensuring a secure and efficient cloud infrastructure management experience.”

After the talks there will be an opportunity for some further socialising, moving onto a nearby pub between 20.00 and 20.30 for those interested.

An important note on access – the Palo Alto Network offices are in the new 22 Bishopsgate building, and you’ll require a QR code in order to gain access. We will contact you through the meetup platform closer to the time to provide you this information - in order to register you we will need a full name and email address. Without this information and QR code, you will not gain access.
