HashiCorp Meetup #42 - The Christmas One!

A long overdue (sorry!) meetup before Christmas, and what a treat Santa has in store for us! We've three great talks lined up, and the usual pizza, beer and networking. A big thank you to Natilik for hosting us and providing us with the food and drink!

Bonus points for anyone wearing Christmas hats.

The timings for the event are as follows:

• 18.00 - Arrival for pizza, drinks and socialising
• 18.30 - Talk 1 - Danny Knights - Senior Solutions Engineer @ HashiCorp - Boundary Transparent Sessions - We will look at Boundary and how it's transforming secure access for organisations worldwide. We'll unpack the core challenges Boundary solves and spotlight transparent sessions — the improved Boundary workflow we released in public beta at HashiConf.
• 19.15 - Talk 2 - Mahendran Selvakumar - DevOps Engineer @ Tata Consultancy Services - Vault Overview - Join us for a look at HashiCorp Vault, including an overview of its architecture and core components, as well as some best practices for production environments. This talk will feature practical demos on integrating Vault with AWS, as well as a quick, hands-on tour of the HashiCorp Cloud Platform (HCP) portal.
• 20.00 - Talk 3 - Mike Guy - Technical Lead @ Natilik - An Intro to HCP Terraform Stacks - In this talk, we will explore the newly released preview feature in HCP - Terraform stacks. We will understand what challenges it's addressing and how it works, with a live demo!

After the event, for those interested we may move to a nearby pub afterwards for a couple more drinks and a catchup!
