Winter Box Hill Hike

Join us for our Winter Box Hill hike! This is a Moderate walk requiring us to keep a good pace throughout, ending the walk at a cafe where we can socialise over drinks and/or food.

🗺️ Overview:
Starting at Box Hill & Westhumble Rail station, we will walk over the footbridge then up, up up to Box Hill! After taking in the beautiful view from the top of the hill, we'll continue our walk along the beautiful Surrey countryside for a circular walk until we'll return near the station and end our walk with drinks and food at a nearby Cafe.

🥾 Tech Stuff:
The walk is about 8 miles long, taking approx 3 hours. Please note this walk requires a moderate level of fitness.
Expect a steep ascent to Box Hill with steep stairs and uneven terrain. We'll walk on grass and soil which may be muddy so advise outdoors/hiking shoes/gear.

- Please wear layers to adapt to the changing weather
- Waterproofs incl. waterproof backpack
- Hiking shoes/gear
- Snacks
- Phone battery pack
- Your smile!

There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad preparation! ;)

🚉 Transport:
The walk starts at 11.45 from Box Hill & Westhumble Rail station.

- By Train:
You can get the 10:38 train from London Victoria arriving at 11:34 at Box Hill & Westhumble Rail station.

- By Car:
You can park at the Box Hill & Westhumble Rail car park or at the nearby Stepping Stones car park which is a short walk away.

💰 Cost:
The cost of this walk is £6 per person. After sign-up to the Meetup event, you will receive a message with a link to complete the payment.
Please note if no payment is made within 48 hours of receiving the link, you will be automatically withdrawn from the attendees list.

The event fee is non-refundable.
