Walk: New Malden to Putney Bridge (Beverley Brook walk) 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Join us for a sociable 7.5-mile walk starting in New Malden and finishing at Putney Bridge, via Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park. For part of the walk we will be following Beverley Brook. The walk goes through some of South London's most varied and beautiful countryside.

Meet Thomas (the man wearing the brown hat in the photo) or Mark (who will be wearing an orange scarf) under the big round clock inside Waterloo mainline train station at 9.45am. We will be catching the 9:57am train, arriving at New Malden at 10:19am. Note that New Malden is in zone 4 (you can use normal London travel passes/tickets such as Oyster cards).

We will start the walk from outside New Malden train station soon after 10:20am. If it is more convenient you you to meet us there then please let us know.

Unfortunately we cannot wait for latecomers as it is unfair on others to delay the walk.

There will be a lunch stop at an appropriate eatery (if you prefer you can bring your own food but may need to eat this separately).

The walk should involve about 3 hours of walking time and will finish at Putney Bridge, which is in zone 2 and is on the Wimbledon branch of the District line.

There is a £2 meetup charge for this event. Please pay Mark or Thomas when you join the group.
