🌿 Finsbury to Ally Pally Parkland Walk — Reccy Invitation
Fancy joining me for a chance to explore the Parkland Walk from Finsbury Park to Alexandra Palace before it becomes an official group meetup?
This isn’t a polished event — it’s a reccy for those who have not done this walk before. That means it’s just me (and whoever fancies it) checking the path, seeing what works, what doesn’t, and probably going a bit off-track in the process. I know its a popular walk, but its still going to be a new adventure for me - I’ve walked it once before many years ago with a group and from memory it’s very pretty and fairly straightforward — but memory lies, paths shift, and reccies tend to go sideways. We might get lost. We might loop back. We may not even reach the final destination.
I’m offering this as a meetup so if you are new to this route you can actively share in the joy of discovery and be part of a small group of intrepid explorers, uncovering hidden bits of London’s green backbone together. I’ve no idea how long the route will take or whether some parts are still accessible — but that’s all part of the fun. If you're up for the challenge, come along.
We’ll keep it really small, casual, and inclusive — no one leading, no one following, just a few of us walking side by side and figuring it out together.
