🕯️ An Introvert’s Day Out: Arundel, Sussex – Saturday 23rd August
Quiet magic, cobbled calm, and a castle that watches over it all.
Join me for a gentle escape to Arundel, nestled in the South Downs and feels like this fairy tale town was designed for the quiet-minded. With its medieval dharm, timeless streets, and riverside hush, Arundel holds space for reflection, curiosity, and calm.
🛤️ The Journey
My ticket is booked for the 10:35am train that departs London Victoria - no changes. Returning at 7:14pm. Return ticket cost under £20 (at the moment). Duration takes around 1.5 hours, The journey alone eases you through rolling countryside to Arundel’s storybook station. (If, like me you get nostalgic on journeys - then this is a pretty one!)

Please book your train ticket before RSVPing. We all may not be on the same train as each other — and that’s perfectly okay. We’ll gather as gentle arrivals in town, meeting up naturally once everyone’s wandered their way into the day. No rush, no pressure. For this meetup I will keep my phone on and give my number on the day.

• Pause for tea or something stronger by the river, at our own rhythm
