Relaxed Coffee / Tea / Cake and Chat in Ealing

Join us for some relaxed conversation over a tea, coffee or another drink at Cafe Zee in Ealing. The venue also has very tasty cakes and other snacks. We will be downstairs.

How to find us

• The closest station is Ealing Broadway station, which is a five minute walk away
• On the day of the meetup, I will let guests know what I am wearing and where I am sitting so you can find the group.
• If you still can’t find us, please check you are at the right venue and the date and time is correct.

What to expect

• We will usually be sat together as a large group, but there tends to be smaller group conversations of between two to five people within that group.
• Usually about half those who have RSVP’ed Yes will turn up.
• You are free to join and leave at any time during the event.
• You can remain in a conversation with the same people throughout, however, if you wish, you can use buying a drink as an opportunity to join a conversation with different people.
• The event will be held with one other group. I will add guests from the other groups as ‘my guests’.

A few tips for those who may be anxious about attending

• It is best to come with an open mind on what may happen during the event.
• There is no pressure to maintain conversation throughout. If you are not much of a talker, you can just listen, saviour your drink or soak up the atmosphere.
• When arriving or leaving, you do not need to say hello or goodbye if you prefer not to.
