Tampopo - Screening, Discussion and Informal Talk on Learning Japanese
Details
So, I'm running another event in the function room at The Haverstock Tavern, a lovely pub in Chalk Farm, North London! It's an independent pub offering craft beer/wine and snacks. This time, we will watch Tampopo, a comedy written and directed by talented Juzo Itami, followed by an informative talk on learning Japanese using the film. We will then continue with our discussion in the beer garden.
So, who's giving this talk? I help English speakers (speakers of similar European languages) acquire Japanese as a language facilitator/coach (I am qualified to teach languages). I've found out that many of you are interested in being able to watch anime/films without subtitles. So, I thought I'd throw this in.
The talk is not compulsory, if it happens - you can skip this bit and "socialise" in the garden instead.
