What we’re about

Welcome to the London Beginners Social Coding Meetup! This is a friendly group designed for those who are just starting out in the world of coding. Whether you're learning Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or any other language, the goal is to create an environment where you can develop your skills and work on small coding tasks alongside fellow beginners.

How it works:

Join us for hands-on coding sessions where we meet somewhere in London and work on small, fun projects together.
We work in pairs or small groups to solve problems, share knowledge, and learn from one another.
There will be more experienced coders who can provide guidance and help troubleshoot issues.
Enjoy a friendly environment to network and build friendships with fellow coders.
Where we meet

We meet in the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank, London, but this might change depending on the occasion and the size of the group

Who Can Join:

Beginners who are new to coding or have little experience
Self-taught coders looking for a supportive community
Students wanting to reinforce their learning through practical application
Anyone interested in starting a coding journey and seeking a collaborative learning environment

What to Bring:

Your laptop and charger
Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

Why Join Us:

Learning to code can be challenging, but you don’t have to do it alone! At London Beginners Social Coding Meetup, we believe in the power of community and collaborative learning. Together, we can make coding more approachable, enjoyable, and rewarding.
