London Ladies 40+ Career Changers & Networking

Changing careers in your 40s (or beyond) can be exciting—but it can also be surprisingly isolating.

Many of us are returning to university, retraining, starting businesses, pursuing long-held ambitions, or stepping into entirely new professions after successful first careers. Finding other women on a similar path isn’t always easy.

This group exists to build a genuine professional network of women who are actively changing careers and are committed to helping one another succeed.

This is not a general social group or a passive directory of contacts. It is a working network—a community of women who show up, participate, share knowledge, make introductions, celebrate wins, and create opportunities for one another. While friendships will naturally develop, our primary purpose is professional connection, accountability, and career advancement.

To foster meaningful relationships, membership will initially be capped at 50 women.

Events may include:

• Small networking dinners in Central London
• Speed networking events (online and in person)
• Profession-specific networking circles, initially focused on: law, femtech/tech, finance, real estate, and entrepreneurship.
• Accountability and goal-setting sessions
• CV, LinkedIn and interview workshops
• Guest speakers and career panels
• Co-working sessions
• Study groups for professional qualifications
• Skill-sharing evenings where members teach their area of expertise

WhatsApp Community

After attending your first event, you’ll be invited to join our private WhatsApp Community.

This will include announcement channels as well as profession- and interest-based subgroups, making it easier to connect with women in your field, find accountability partners, share opportunities, ask questions, and continue conversations between events.

• Actively changing careers or preparing to do so
• Studying or retraining
• Launching or growing a business
• Seeking meaningful professional connections
• Willing to both give and receive support

That doesn’t mean attending every event—it means contributing in ways that help build the network. Come to events when you can, introduce people, share resources, celebrate each other’s milestones, ask thoughtful questions, and invest in relationships over time.
