Splash Pad Fun at Elephant Springs

Details

Elephant Springs is a large, new urban water and sand based play area in Elephant and Castle. Formed of natural italian sandstone there are various, cleverly designed ways to play in the water. There are hand operated old fashioned pumps, as well as dancing jets, and cascades of water running down between rock channels to form little babbling streams. Natural play and exploration is encouraged with the mechanism to block, dam, and divert the water at various points. The wet area is surrounded by a large sandpit set under mature trees for some shade in warmer weather.

Please look for our base near to the Hammocks. We will aim to get as near as possible to this landmark but of course things can change on the day. Please look out for a red tartan picnic blanket and pride flags.

There is level access for wheelchair accessibility.

Elephant Springs is located within Elephant Park, in Elephant and Castle.
Elephant Park is a short walk from:
Elephant and Castle Tube station - Northern and Bakerloo Lines
Elephant and Castle Train station - Thames Link
Or a 15 min bus ride from Waterloo train station for those coming from further afield (number 68/172/176/188)
There is local metered parking nearby but no direct parking within the park.
