London Wetlands Centre Morning Stroll

Details

Join us for a relaxed morning stroll around the London Wetlands Centre. This large, peaceful Wetlands centre is located alongside the river Thames. There are long areas of board walks to explore around the lakes and reservoirs which are perfect for buggies and prams. For the children there are lots of ducks to look at, Otters to watch, Pond Dipping, a playground, and a new splashpad.

There is an admission charge of £16.29 for adults and £10.58 for children aged 3-17, and children under 3 are free. If the cost of admission is a barrier to you attending, please DM me as we have a fund for opening participation to low-income families.

We will meet outside the front entrance on the bridge next to the statue of Sir Peter Scott (you can't miss it!). Look for my navy rucksac with the pride flags tucked into it.

The Wetlands Centre can be reached from:
Overground trains to Barnes Station (10 minutes from Clapham Junction)
Hammersmith Tube station - approximately 25 minutes walk, but you can walk the very scenic riverside path directly to the Wetlands Centre.
By Bus - number 33, 209, 419, 485, 533, 969, 849
There is extensive, free parking onsite.

The site is very wheelchair friendly, with mobility scooters available to reserve free of charge.
