Join us at the London Wetlands Centre for one of their Festive Family Fun Days in December. In addition to the fantastic usual attractions (a great mud kitchen, sound garden, adventure playground, pond dipping, and otter feeding), there are additional seasonal activities such as: magical storytelling sessions, Christmas arts and crafts making festive keepsakes, decorate your own gingercreads, marshmallow toasting, and festive face painting. The activities are suitable for all ages, so this is a perfect way for all our families to get together and catch up.

The Wetlands Centre is located in Barnes. There is a large car park with ample free parking. Barnes Railway Station is serviced by regular trains from Waterloo and is a 10-minute walk away or frequent buses stop nearby. Hammersmith tube station is a 25-minute walk away via a scenic river towpath route, or buses can be caught south of Hammersmith Bridge (which is currently closed to traffic).

Entry to the Wetlands Centre is charged and is £16.29 for adults and £10.58 for children aged 3-17 (under 3 is free). Tickets are cheaper when booked in advance on their website here: https://tickets.wwt.org.uk/event-tickets/28293/?catID=27780&branches.branchID=332. Concession rates are available for those in receipt of certain benefits, where admission is reduced to £5 for adults and £3 for children. These tickets must be booked in advance here: https://www.wwt.org.uk/wetland-centres/london/plan-your-visit/tickets/universal-credit-tickets. As always, if finances are a barrier to you attending this meet-up then please direct message me as we have charity funding available to facilitate attendance for everyone.

We will meet at 1pm on the bridge by the statue of Sir Peter Scott on the walk up to the main entrance. Look for the pride flags on the buggy/backpack.
