Diary Drawing Club (DD Club) is a creative drawing meetup

We meet every other week to explore our inner worlds through drawing, in a calm and welcoming space.

You don’t need to be a trained artist — just someone with a genuine interest in drawing and self-expression.

If you've ever wanted to express your thoughts or emotions through images, or if you’ve quietly filled sketchbooks and longed to share them with others, this space is for you.

Whether you’re a lifelong doodler, a reflective creator, or someone captivated by the idea of visual journaling — you’re warmly invited.

## 📋 Purpose

• Reconnect with your inner voice through drawing
• Express thoughts, feelings, memories — or simply share what you’ve created

## 🎨 What We Do

🖍 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM | Inner Drawing Time

• We’ll now begin drawing.
• You’re welcome to follow the prompt I give for the day — or completely ignore it and draw whatever you feel like.

(For example: “What did I feel the most this week?” or “A colour that represents today.”)

• This is quiet time for personal drawing. No group discussion during this part.
• ⚠️ Important: Please bring your own drawing materials.

We’ll have a few basic supplies available, but not enough for everyone.

☕ 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM | Tea Break

• Grab some tea, coffee, or snacks.
• Feel free to chat with each other or just take a break before the next session.

💬 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM | Sharing Circle

• If you want, you can share your drawing from today — or something from your sketchbook.
• You can talk about it, or just show it. There’s no pressure to explain.
• Each person usually gets 5–10 minutes.
• You’re welcome to just listen and not share if you prefer.
• We listen without judgment, and support each other with care.

## 💰 Participation Fee

🧡 First time? It’s for just £5.

• £8 per session
• £30 for a 4-session pass

✏️ This helps us avoid no-shows and keep the space intentional and respectful.

🍵 All options include tea, coffee, and light snacks.

🌱 Your contribution helps cover materials and prep time, and allows us to keep running this event regularly.

## 🎨 Materials

Please bring your own drawing materials — whether it’s a sketchbook, coloured pencils, or your iPad. We’ll have a few basic supplies available, but not enough for everyone. Bring whatever helps you express yourself — no fancy tools needed, just what feels good in your hands.
