Free Stand-up Comedy Show in New Cross!

A handpicked selection of the best alternative comedians for a comedy show like you have never seen before!! Unless you’ve been before, then it’ll be a bit like when you came last time. Wow!!

Who will be performing?
There will be 5 or so professional/semi-professional comedians performing each night.

Previous acts include: Sam Campbell (2022 Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show), Viggo Venn (Britain's Got Talent / 2022 Hackney Empire New Act of the Year), Ray Badran (Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club), Alf White & Hugh Hurley (@AviaryTales), and that kid from the year above you at school who's now a stand-up comedian.

What sort of ££££ are we talking?
This is a Pay What You Can comedy night. At the end of the show, there will be a bucket (& card reader), where you make a donation to support the night. If can't afford to donate, that's totally fine, please still come along!

Can I reserve a seat?

Is this night held in a shed where it costs £10 for a warm pint?
Nope. This night is at The Shirker's Rest - a lovely micro-pub with a massive selection of very nice (& very reasonably priced), beers, ales, ciders, wines etc. You can also order Yard Sale Pizza from the pub to eat there before/after the show. Wow!!

Venue: The Shirker's Rest (upstairs) – New Cross, 9 Lewisham Way, London, SE14 6PP
Doors: 7.45pm; Show: 8-10pm. There'll be a break in the middle, *don't* worry.

There will be space in the main bit of the pub for those who want to have a drink and a chat before/after the show.
