A classy night indeed.
I know a good few have fallen in love with The RSA and their gorgeous lounge and cocktail bar, MUSE, and our last two have been at the even more historic space, the Tavern Room. Let's just tell you how magical this place is. .. Dickens used to write his novels IN THIS ROOM. Benjamin Franklin was a fellow of the RSA AT THE TIME OF THE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR. Past and present Fellows include Judi Dench, Herbie Hancock and Steven Hawking ... shall I go on? It's one of the most beautiful Georgian Houses in London, just off Strand, pretty much the original 18th centrut Coffee House / debating society. Now you know why I get excited inviting you here!
Our first Unplugged Concert. at Muse at RSA for the New Year feaures world class, emotive and brilliant Si Connelly, soulful and contemporary Swiss singer-songwriter Emilia Anastazja and the gorgeous folky pop British/Spanish singer songwriter Chloe Leigh!!
- 6pm onwards - We meet from 6pm for cocktails and chats in the lovely Muse Bar, before settling in at The Tavern Room for the salon style concert.
- 7pm approx - The unplugged concert starts with intervals inbetween each artist
- 9.45pm onwards - cocktail bar open until 11 for after drinks!
ABOUT THE LINEUP ...
Emotive and raw live and a hugely prolific songwriter (3 albums in 2023 and more due for release) UK touring artist SI CONNELLY bowls his audience over at every live show. He's been namechecked as world class more times than anyone can remember, and is truly special indeed.

Known for her rich, emotive voice and genre-blending sound—fusing soul, R&B, pop, and jazz, EMILIA ANASTAZJA creates music that feels timeless and real, drawing inspiration from Sade, Joni Mitchell, Cleo Sol, Erykah Badu and more. Her newest EP Everything I Want was praised by Earmilk and named Jazz FM’s Song of the Week. Emilia is currently working on Purple To Blue, a project co-written and co-produced with Femi Temowo (Amy Winehouse).

Inspired by wordsmiths such as Leonard Cohen and Laura Marling, CHLOE LEIGH explores tales of love and loss, longing and laughter. Her signature blend of folk and flamenco styles has taken Chloe to many places, from Glastonbury, to Nashville, to the dark jazz bars in Berlin. Chloe has recently been working on a new collection of songs for debut album, influenced by her southern Spanish roots, that represents her unique international sound.

For lovers of old skool vintage soul and RnB, Motown and more .. you will just love rising new artist Romeo Agrela who will be performing with full band, special guest and backing vocalist Raye and Ed Sheeran - Diy Sohi ANDD possibly a suprise live guest on the night too!
We will have the highly regarded DJ Tough Love spinning tunes after too until late.

Kicking off 2026 once again with the fantastic THE GROVE plus SATIN BEIGE!
Pizza Express Live are hands down the London Live Meetup Group's favourite venue. Its stage complete with Steinway Grand, lovely lighting and great sound, complete with the classic Pizza Express menu make this a winner.
I'mthrilled to reprise this Holborn show for the third tim!! YES - The Grove are back, along with the incredible Satin Beige!! You will just LOVE South London soul collective The Grove (full band) and unique rnb/jazzy singer/songwriter/cellist Satin Beige.
- We meet at 6.30pm (order food and drinks and catch up)
- Its a group table or adjacent tables so that we can all enjoy the great vibe together
- Live Music at 8pm sharp (food and drinks still discreetly served) with a lovely listening audience vibe and really class artists always.
The Grove
London-based band ‘The Grove’ are making their mark on the local music scene and beyond. The 7-piece collective offer an innovative sound that merges soulful vocals with eclectic sonic concoctions of jazz, funk, hip-hop and indie, all wrapped up within a catchy songwriting prowess.
Having headlined at a variety of London gig landmarks such as Pizza Express Live, The Troubadour, The Bedford, The Hootananny and the 02 Academy Islington , they have recently released their debut EP, ‘The Grove’. This latest project has garnered acclaim with radio play from Robert Elms on BBC Radio London and two features on BBC Introducing from Jess Iszatt, alongside numerous positive online reviews. Lock Mag notes “their first EP feels like a strong and commanding statement of intent for their future”.

Satin Beige
Satin Beige is an R&B cellist and singer songwriter. Her music has been described by Getintothis as “cello infused, lyrically soulful R ‘n’ B” with “something of an Ed Sheeran and Alicia Keys lovechild vibe”.

Lily Beck is a soulful singer / songwriter releasing her upcoming 7 track EP in the new year. Having performed on the main stage at Bunk Festival 2025, she is set to headline the Festival of Light in December. Her music blends heartfelt soul, funk infusions, with an uplifting country edge.
