Hello Pizza Express Live Fans and Friends - I want to invite you to celebrate MY BIRTHDAY at this incredible gig at Pizza Express Live Holborn!!
Pizza Express Live are hands down the London Live Meetup Group's favourite venue. Its stage complete with Steinway Grand, lovely lighting and great sound, complete with the classic Pizza Express menu make this a winner.
Youll get the chance to discover three incredible artists on one night.
Ohh wow is this one for soul and blues lovers, its OFF THE HOOK with the stunning bluesy soul Will James band, the simply sublime LA based, Polynesian/Croatian artist Tihane who is here in the UK for just one band show (!!) AND the very lovely and real singer-songwriter Rose White.- We meet at 6.30pm (order food and drinks and catch up)
- Its a group table or adjacent tables so that we can all enjoy the great vibe together
- Live Music at 8pm sharp (food and drinks still discreetly served) with a lovely listening audience vibe and really class artists always.Will James is an exciting talent on the UK music scene effortlessly melting blues, jazz and soul music into beautiful original music performed with the passion of the greats of old, hailed as certified grassroots blues royalty.
“He is creating inspired collections of modern blues” Blues In Britain Magazine. Will created quite a stur in the scene since the release of his first record “The Age Of Fear” back in 2020. Shortly after its release he was invited by John Wooler to record his next record “Sundancer” over in North Hollywood, California. That record “Sundancer went to No.1 on the USA Soul Blues Album Charts 2023 and received great critical acclaim by many blues magazines. His music is rooted in blues but pulls many melodic elements from jazz and soul music, known as a formidable guitar player with a silky smooth voice and a great songwriter a true triple threat act and a UK treasure. On stage, Will's passionate live performances are a throwback to the greats of old where everything is laid bare. He and his quartet have gained a stellar live reputation on the London scene to also supporting Razorlight & Dire Straits (John Illsley) back in 2023.

TIHANE is an exotic blend of vintage soul and hypnotic grooves. CLASH called her latest single “a rich, soulful introduction” to her sound, featuring “groovy, funk-tinged basslines with flecks of jazz across the songstress’ vocal performance.” Her Polynesian Croatian roots and multi-cultural collaborations with producers from around the world creates a unique fusion of R&B, Neo-Soul and blues-inspired bangers. From historic venues in Paris like L’Olympia to BBC Introducing stages in the UK and African festivals on the banks of the Nile River, TIHANE brings sound healing to Soul music.

ROSE WHITE is a London-based singer-songwriter described as mixing playful pop, soul, and funk with powerful energy and storytelling. She is known for her husky voice, which has been compared to Amy Winehouse and Olivia Dean, and her ability to openly address topics often unspoken. Rose is Polish-born and started her music career in London after arriving with limited resources and no connections. She has released an EP, "One Fourth Mark," and a single, "Mistake I Want To Make," and has played various venues in London, including The Fiddler's Elbow and the Stag's Head. Her music has been described as "intimate storytelling" and "unapologetic sass". Rose White's music is influenced by artists like Nina Simone, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, and Amy Winehouse.

RUBY LEIGH is an indie pop singer-songwriter from Buckinghamshire, known for emotionally honest lyrics and captivating melodies. Inspired by Lana Del Rey and Fiona Apple, she’s performed at top London venues and studied at The BRIT School, continually growing as an artist through live performance and songwriting.

Taking inspiraiton from Kavinsky, Imogen Heap, and Marina & the Diamonds. Stan’s lyrics are influenced by the introspective writing of Radiohead and Billie Eilish. He has just released his debut single, “Je Ne Sais Quoi”.
