The Riverside from The O2 to The Old Naval College

This walking tour with local resident Sean explores the collision of history and present along the Thames Riverside from the O2 'Dome' to the Old Naval College at Greenwich. After learning about the meaning of the Dome's dimensions and its chequered past we head off to see recent artworks by artists such as Damian Hirst, Morden Wharf, the high-spec apartments next to then Georgian Cutty Sark pub at Ballast Quay, The Trinity Hospital nestled against the huge Greenwich Power Station and the traditional pubs of Crane St before finishing at Wren's magnificent Old Naval College.
We meet outside the Wagamama restaurant by the Dome and near to North Greenwich tube.
