Many churches in the Square Mile are Wren's fine work but what about the many that pre date him or some splendid efforts that came after him?

On this walk we'll look at hidden gems that have somehow lingered and held on despite war, fire and just general wear and tear. We'll see how you identify those tell tale signs that give the age of the building away.

Join me on this tour of medieval remnants and some splendid 18th century places of worship. Each has their own stories to tell of those worshipped and are buried here, who held out here and led communities here.
